How To Do At-Home Insemination with Donor Sperm

Once you pick out your donor, place your order to time with ovulation and make sure you already have your Mosie Baby Kit ordered.  

When ready to inseminate, follow the instructions included in your shipment from Premier Sperm Bank. 

Be sure to use gloves (clean, unused dishwashing ones will do) to handle the cryotank frozen vials. Before inseminating double check the donor information matches your paperwork. 

While the vial thaws, prepare for insemination by setting up your bed or couch with pillows, headphones, the remote control – whatever you need so that you’re ready to relax once the sperm has been transferred.  

During thawing time, open your Mosie Baby Kit, which includes two syringes and two collection cups. If you prefer, you can skip disposable gloves for this step, but ensure your hands are clean. Review the Mosie Baby instructions and get familiar with the syringe. Be sure to push the plunger to the top when you’re ready. 

When the vial has thawed, open pour int the collection cup to transfer the sperm into the syringe. Pull the syringe back to draw up the sperm slowly to avoid air bubbles. If you get an air bubble, just flick the syringe to get it out. 

Once your syringe is ready, follow the insemination instructions provided with the Mosie Baby Kit.
